Festive Pancakes!

20161211_123408Christmas time is family time, so what better time to make pancakes with your siblings. Any pancake recipe will do, but we recommend not adding your blueberries, chocolate chips, etc to your batter until it’s on the pan. Here are some fun shapes we tried!

We first started by making our pancake batter.

We then took two spoons and spooned (haha) the batter into the squeeze bottle we had. We used an empty honey bottle that we cleaned out. Any squeeze bottle will do.

This was difficult so I recommend a funnel.

In order to test the pan, we spooned some batter into the pan to make some normal pancakes. This also helped us determine how hot the pan was because you want to make sure your pan isn’t too hot.

We’re also quite rubbish at flipping pancakes so we tried a few more tester pancakes until we mastered our pancake flipping skills.

And then we began the designs.

We mastered the heart, but the snowflake was a little too complicated for us. But it also gave us a snack to munch on as we cooked. Then a whale snuck in there somehow. Some of them were Christmassy and some weren’t but it’s okay because they all tasted pretty great.

And that was our breakfast adventure! You can put syrup, whipped cream, yogurt, fruit, or chocolate chips on your pancakes or you can eat them plain. I hope you try them out anytime soon! You can even try them out on Christmas morning for some family time after opening and giving gifts. Honestly, you can also do the same thing for any other holiday with any other designs of your choice.

Christmas is tomorrow so if you haven’t made your cards for your family yet, see a post I made here. Have a Merry Christmas Eve!! 🙂

  2. I think the game … I think the game gets you quite fast into the next minigame after the short win / fail screen and a troatisinn would be nice, so why not make a bright flash which is gone extremly fast again, blending from one scene to the other? That would make it look better while keeping the fast gameplay. I think it looks quite unpolite how it throws you into the next game and back to the win / fail screen Was this answer helpful?

  3. Saludos Monik, bienvenida. No te había entendido Pal. El otro zapato debía estar lustrado también, porque los reyes lo sabían todo.
