happy friday friends! currently typing this up before I leave to go see khalid! this week brought so much new music it’s crazy. many artists finally dropped projects that they were hyping up all summer and I couldn’t be happier.

so without going on for much longer, here’s the best of music released this week of friday august 16th.

POP AND BOPS

you ruined new york for me: FLETCHER – the whole EP

I have absolutely loved FLETCHER ever since I saw her open for LANY this year. she was one of the best openers I’ve ever seen and one I’ll never forget so I was SO excited for this new EP. it is truly everything. “all love” transported me back to seeing her live and “strangers” is perfect. if you haven’t heard of her, listen to this ep asap.

not only is this song catchy and upbeat but it’s lyrics are also very emotional and honest.

red hearse: red hearse – violence, red hearse, you make it easy, everybody wants you,

red hearse really dropped a whole album today and I love it. I’ve been excited for their album since I found them quite a few new music fridays ago and I was not disappointed.

motivation: normani

not only did normani drop this fire song this week, but she also dropped an amazing music video to go with it as well. I’ve been hype for new music from her ever since I saw her open for ariana grande and this song was well worth the wait especially because the two of them worked on it together.

this song is amazing but those added bubble noises really just bring it to an even higher level.

I was obsessed with “situationship” a couple weeks ago so you could say I was pretty excited when I heard snoh aalegra dropped a new album this week.

a mix of a lil indie and a lot of up beat dance music, friendly fires dropped an album that’s anything but boring.
