new music friday vol. 20

hey gang! I know this playlist is coming at you two whole weeks late. I know. I know. If we’re being honest, I was overwhelmed by the amount of my favorite artists that dropped full albums. And I couldn’t stop listening to the new Jonas Brothers song on repeat. Chelsea Cutler created a masterpiece. And Mac Miller’s album crushed my heart and soul for a few days. But I’m back. And better than ever. And this playlist is crazy long because I couldn’t narrow down my favorite songs from all of the albums. So let’s just get into it!

Here are the best songs from the week of Friday, January 17th.

I adore Surfaces and this new song might be one of my favorites of all time from them! Their new single “Lazy” is about the cute little house they recorded their entire second album in and it’s the perfect song to relax to on a Sunday morning.

If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard “Graveyard” in the last few months then I highly recommend it. I included “You should be sad” on my last new music friday playlist. The transition from “Dominic’s Interlude” to “I HATE EVERYBODY” is a masterpiece. If you’ve been living underground and haven’t already, you should listen to “Without Me.”
